West Virginia has had two easy weeks since their season opening loss to the Virginia Tech Hokies. That loss to Virginia Tech is proving to be not so costly. The Hokies defeated the East Carolina Pirates  64-17 last week. Just one week after West Virginia defeated ECU.

This week, West Virginia travels to Lawrence for their Big 12 opener against Kansas. It’ll be Oct. 7 before we see West Virginia face a quality opponent again when they take on TCU. Florida transfer quarterback Will Grier is promising to be everything he was hyped to be.

West Virginia is still a team that could win the Big 12. They have one of the best offenses in the country including a top notch quarterback, deep receiving corps, and deadly one-two punch in the backfield.
