Last week’s projection: Washington vs. Wisconsin

Like last week and until there is any other further movement when it comes to teams and projections in front of them, Washington and Wisconsin are just waiting for someone be upset or multiple losses to occur. Washington is a spot or two closer to a playoff spot than Wisconsin so with top four and five ranked teams playing in front of them over the next few weeks, there is a chance you could see one of these teams leave this spot.

Wisconsin had the better week of the two although both teams won in convincing fashion, going to BYU is no easy task but the Badgers took it to the Cougars and now have a week off before a key showdown in the Big Ten west vs. Northwestern.

After slapping around Fresno State, the Washington Huskies take their first conference road trip of the season they travel to Colorado in a rematch of the 2016 Pac-12 title game. Things have changed and Colorado, while undefeated is still not at the level of Washington or at least on paper.

Week 4 Impact: While Wisconsin has a week off, there is a chance they can slide into the Orange Bowl if Iowa upsets Penn State this weekend. As for Washington, they have a chance to move into the playoff as both Penn State and USC face tough road tests. If one or both teams lose, look for Washington to make their way to the playoff projection this time next week.
