7. Arkansas gives Alabama the biggest scare of the season

Once again, the Alabama Crimson Tide are ranked No. 1 in the AP Poll and are the clear favorite to win the SEC. Few teams, aside from possibly the Georgia Bulldogs and Auburn Tigers, will compete with them for the conference title.

This Arkansas team is one that you never know what to expect from. They can compete with almost any team in the country given the right week. However, they’ve lost some games in the past two years that surprised many.

Arkansas travels to Tuscaloosa to meet Alabama at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Oct. 14. It will be a tough test for sophomore quarterback Jalen Hurts and the Tide to roll against the Razorbacks this year. Austin Allen brings too much experience.

Last year, Alabama controlled their game with Arkansas most of the way to the tune of a 49-30 win. However, expect Arkansas to pose a much tougher test this year and even make some Alabama fans uncomfortable for most of the game.
