5. player. 57. . Safety. Florida State. Derwin James

The Chicago Bears looked abysmal in their 29-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bears offnese had four turnovers, two of them interceptions from newly-signed quarterback Mike Glennon.

If there’s anything they could have used last week, it was an anchor on the defense to corral things.

The Bears’ offense is still trying to figure things out but the defense could use a playmaker. They allowed 204 passing yards and a passing touchdown, the Buccaneers defense also had a pick-six in the game.

That’s where Florida State Seminoles safety Derwin James serves as a possible pick they can make. James picked up six tackles and 0.5 sacks in his first game back from an injury he suffered last season.

Due to the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, fans have been unable to get a look at James, but he returns to action this week. The Seminoles face the NC State Wolfpack to open up ACC play.

James is certainly chomping at the bit to get back on the field and should have a big performance. Florida State is still winless at 0-1 on the 2017 season.
