West Virginia is in a very similar situation to the Sooners. They’re huge favorites over Kansas and can take this opportunity to build momentum for tougher matchups, like TCU in two weeks. The Mountaineers are a 21-point favorite, which seems a little close.

Transfer quarterback Will Grier is putting up huge numbers through the first three games. But two of those games were against Delaware State and East Carolina. While Kansas is not the best team in the Big 12, they’re still better than an FCS team and ECU (who’s having a down year).

The potent running back combination of Justin Crawford and Kennedy McKoy should put up huge stats in this one. Kansas has had trouble defending both the run and the pass over the last two weeks. Central Michigan and Ohio combined for more than 85 points against the Jayhawk defense.

Why this one will be fun to watch is mainly because of Grier. He has a great receiving corps to work with and West Virginia’s offense is much improved with him behind center. Kansas should not be much of a challenge.
