Washington State continues to look like a Pac-12 contender as they took down Nevada 45-7 in Pullman on Saturday. Luke Falk put together another masterful performance passing the ball, throwing for 478 yards and five touchdowns against the Wolf Pack. Both Tavares Martin Jr. and Renard Bell finished with over 100 receiving yards, while Jamal Morrow added 73 yards on 11 carries.

While the win over Boise State took a blow after Virginia dominated the Broncos on Friday night, Washington State continues to put together strong performances and might be the best team in the Pac-12 North this year. The Cougars should move up at least a few spots into the top 15 of this week’s AP Top 25 when it is released.

Mike Leach’s team cannot become complacent, though, because the road gets harder soon. USC comes to Pullman next weekend, with games against Oregon, California, and Colorado looming on the schedule in October.
