Louisville Football: 5 overreactions in their win against Kent State
By Jesse Smith
4. Louisville is not the team to beat in the ACC
Louisville has gotten back to their winning ways, their fans are excited and who doesn’t like winning? They are now 3-1 overall and 1-1 in the ACC. But with a critical loss at home to the defending national champion Clemson Tigers, they need help to have control of their own destiny. Being in the Atlantic side of the conference has its disadvantages as long as Clemson continues to dominate the recruiting trail.
With eight of the six remaining games are conference games. Louisville is an exciting team to watch and that makes them must see TV, but they aren’t the cream of the crop in the ACC. They are a good team, but Clemson they are not. Will they run the table in their remaining six ACC games? If they can they who knows what will happen, but you can’t bank on it especially how they got manhandled by Clemson less than 14 days ago.
Solid win on Saturday, but its not time Louisville fans to jump the gun. In the words of LaVar Ball “stay in yo lane” and this isn’t a diss, this is me trying to help you guys stay focus and keep this 42-3 win against Kent State in perspective.
