NFL Mock Draft 2018: Complete first round after Week 4
Where top cornerbacks like Florida State’s Tarvarus McFadden, Iman Marshall, etc. fall is anyone’s best guess. A lot depends on the year for how much in-demand that position is for NFL defenses. One of those defenses in need of adding a cornerback is the Tennessee Titans.
The Titans are on the way up in the AFC South, and could use a lock-down corner against some of the better passing attacks in the division. Even if teams like the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts finish lower than the Titans, they’ll pose a tough test in 2018 as well.
One of the scariest things for the Titans is the emergence of the Jaguars offense. Few expected Blake Bortles and the Jaguars to even compete in the AFC South, let alone be tied for the division lead after three weeks. McFadden can help the Titans shore up their secondary as soon as he joins this defense.
