2. Quinton Flowers could be the most athletic quarterback in the country

Through some inconsistent play from this USF offense, we’ve learned that quarterback Quinton Flowers is hard for opposing defenses to stop when he uses his legs to dismantle other teams. Flowers has rushed for at least 59 yards in every game.

He’s also tallied at least one rushing touchdown in all but one game this year. Many have called Flowers a “poor man’s Lamar Jackson“. However, Flowers might actually be even more elusive than Jackson once he gets outside the pocket.

Passing accuracy was still a point of concern. Flowers completed just over half of his passes and he showed that the USF offense cannot rely on his arm. Yet, any quarterback that averages around 10.0 yards per carry will normally be able to win the game with his legs.
