1. Jake Bentley can carry this South Carolina offense

Much like how the Texas A&M offense comes and goes with the quarterback performances, so does South Carolina’s. More so, because they have a player like sophomore quarterback Jake Bentely commanding the offense.

Bentley is a unique talent that has that “it factor” that a lot of coaches really search for in a quarterback. He helped to turn this program around completely the year that Muschamp took over after the retirement of former head coach Steve Spurrier.

Starting running back Ty’Son Williams is a good complement for Bentley in the backfield. However, it was not really until the win over Mizzou that Williams broke out. And he’s more of a role player that can be a good relief of pressure for Bentley.

The leadership that Bentley brings to the table is also something that NFL scouts really look for. He is the type of player that could end up being a future first round pick in the NFL Draft. Yet, Bentley has to continue developing at South Carolina.
