Clemson Football: 3 takeaways from win over Virginia Tech
1. Kelly Bryant only needs to play a limited role
Kelly Bryant is filling the role left by Watson differently than many expected. He’s been very dangerous with his legs but inconsistent, at times, in the passing game. Against Virginia Tech, Bryant completed more than half of his passes for 186 yards and one score.
The biggest thing that Bryant needs to continue doing is driving the ground attack. Clemson has some many weapons at the skill positions that all Bryant has to do is open up space for them and find a way to get them the ball and this offense will be successful.

Bryant is never going to be the type of quarterback that wins the Heisman. However, he could be the guy that led the Clemson offense to another ACC Championship and National Championship. The defense is so good that he just needs to minimize mistakes and take advantage of all the weapons around him.
