Off Week

Bold prediction: Sam Darnold has his best game yet. His stat lines have been decimated and his failure at the hands of Luke Falk and Washington State have been noted, but there is a reason the Sam Darnold hype train got rolling in the first place. Darnold beats up on a bad Oregon State team and proves USC isn’t out of it just yet.

Bold prediction: Florida State “upsets” Miami. Both of these Florida schools are in the process of shaking off the rusts from a few off weeks. Florida State and Miami were originally set to square off in Week 3, but the extra practice will prove more beneficial to the Noles, who, if they win by impressive enough of a margin, could find their way back into the polls soon enough.

Bold prediction: Ole Miss gets its second 40+ point beatdown in a row. Jarrett Stidham, after a slow start, has become one of the better quarterbacks in the SEC. The Rebels have already proven their defense is not any good. Stidham plus and elite rushing attack minus a defense means lots of points poured on by the Tiger O this week.
