College Football: 25 Bold Predictions for Top 25 in Week 6
Bold prediction: Luke Falk officially becomes a Heisman candidate. It wasn’t too long ago that Falk became Washington State’s all-time leading passer and was benched in the same game. A week removed from Washington’s biggest win in years, Falk continues to impress and takes the place of other struggling Pac-12 quarterbacks in the Heisman race.
Bold prediction: Maryland totals less than 200 yards of total offense. The Terps are on their third quarterback and their season has continued to hit bumps following their upset victory over Texas. The Ohio State defense is still on a mission to prove they are better than they showed against Oklahoma. Maryland gets the brunt of the Buckeyes’ best.
Bold prediction: The Badgers get Mike Riley fired. With no athletic director to protect him, Riley’s days as Husker are numbered. While Butch Jones jumped to the front of the hot seat line in Week 5 it’s Riley who gets let go after an overwhelmingly abysmal home loss to Wisconsin.
Bold prediction: Kenny Hill goes back to being Kenny Hill and throws more interceptions than touchdowns. TCU is better than the nation gave them credit for to start the season, but they are about to reveal they aren’t true College Football Playoff pretenders, not yet. Hill has another off day against a pretty good Mountaineers defense as TCU struggles off a bye.
