4. Bret Bielema, Arkansas

It feels like Bielema has found his name on the hot seat list week in and week out for the past few years. Unfortunately for him, it is well deserved. Bielema came into the Arkansas program in 2013 and hasn’t met expectations since. He had incredible success at Wisconsin but the same cannot be said in his tenure with the Razorbacks.

Since being hired at Arkansas, he has headed the Razorbacks to a dismal 27-28 overall record with a 10-23 record in the SEC. Athletic Director Jeff Long has had his back throughout his career but that leash has to be short.

The Razorbacks have started off the 2017 season going 2-2 which includes losses against TCU and Texas A&M. Bielema has had multiple opportunities to cool down his seat and was even gifted with 8 home games this season.

The Razorbacks are on the road this week for the first time this year as they take on South Carolina this Saturday. This is a must-win week for Bielema and the Razorbacks or their bowl game chances will disappear. If Bielema doesn’t get the job done, Arkansas should begin to plan a future that doesn’t include the current head coach.
