3. Offensive line consistency

The Nebraska offensive line is starting to find its groove.

Mike Cavanaugh’s unit has been plagued by injuries and poor play early in the year. However with the emergence of Michael Dekker at center, the offensive line has started to gel.

Right tackle David Knevel who has missed the past three games with a high ankle sprain, also has practiced this week and looks to return to add much-needed depth.

According to the Lincoln Journal Star’s Husker Extra a rough outing against Northern Illinois on Sept. 16 has re-focused the unit.

Not to mention keeping Lee upright. Lee has been sacked just twice in the past two games.

Left guard Jerald Foster, who missed last season’s game in Madison with a knee injury, said the offensive line is “excited for a smash mouth game” between the Big Ten west rivals.

Look for the Huskers offensive line to come out focused and ready to make a statement.
