B+. . LB. Penn State. LINEBACKERS

The Penn State linebackers contributed as well to the Lions outstanding defensive effort against Northwestern. They were a big reason why the Wildcats offense was stuck in neutral most of the day.

The linebackers did not have a flashy performance. However it was just a day of solid work done by them. The defense is led by middle linebacker Jason Cabinda and he has quite the motor. He constantly was leading the team into tackles for loss against the Wildcats. The Penn State linebackers are all-around good. They were not caught out of position many times against Northwestern, outside of one good 28 yard run by Justin Jackson where he broke free past some poor tackling.
