2. NC State is For Real

This must be the NC State Cole Colebic was talking about that could make the College Football Playoff. Every since the close loss to the University of South Carolina, the Wolfpack has never looked back.

They have gone 4-0 and defeated some big names in the ACC, including a Florida State defense will NFL talent and they just defeated Lamar Jackson and the Louisville Cardinals.

Their defense has caused nine turnovers (five interceptions, four fumbles). They have gotten to opposing quarterbacks 17 times, which is 13th in the nation. Senior defensive end Bradley Chubb has seven of those 17 sacks, third most in the nation.

Many people will look at Chubb and the defense of Wolfpack, but the offense is actually better than the defense. Ryan Findley holds the ninth best completion percentage in the FBS at 70.9 percent. And he still has not thrown an interception this season.

The offense as a whole has been hitting on all cylinders. The Wolfpack have the 8th highest offensive efficiency rate, which is second in the ACC behind Miami. One of the key players on that offense is Jaylen Samuels. He already has 8 touchdowns and over 500 yards of offense.
