2. Clemson Tigers

The No. 2 Clemson Tigers made easy work of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons even though the scoreboard read 28-14 at the end. The Demon Deacons put up 14 points in the fourth quarter, when the game was all but decided. Still, Clemson walked away seeing quarterback Kelly Bryant leave the game early with an injury.

Bryant left the game in the third quarter after spraining his ankle. He looked to be in good spirits but the Tigers have a short week as they face the Syracuse Orange on Friday night. His status will be up in the air all week as Week 7 approaches. Bryant finished with 200 passing yards, a passing touchdown and an interception against Wake Forest

Clemson is 6-0 on the season, 3-0 in ACC play. They’ve shown zero signs of slowing down since winning a national championship last season. Running back Travis Etienne finished with 67 rushing yards after being promoted to starter this past week.

The Tigers didn’t play a perfect game, as they had two turnovers in the game but they’re still the team to beat in the ACC and probably the biggest obstacle in the way of Alabama, this week’s number one team in the playoff projections.
