OL. Louisville. OFFENSIVE LINE . C.

The offensive line is a position I’m going to be critical of because the amount of sacks they have given up this year. Currently they are at 12, and that is only an average of two per game, but I’m marking them down because of their play against Clemson.

During that game, the front five didn’t allow their Heisman-winning quarterback any time to be the normal playmaker he is. Besides that game, they have been solid, but if Louisville was going make the jump into a powerhouse, they needed to play well against Clemson and this group didn’t do that.

On a positive note, these guys are the grinders to one of the best offenses in college football. This a very young group as a whole none of the starters are seniors, so on the bright side, this line has the potential to stick with each other another year and gel even more.

Left tackle Geron Christian is a junior, left guard Kenny Thomas is a junior, center Robbie Bell is a sophomore, right guard Lukayus McNeil is a junior and right tackle Mekhi Becton is a freshman.

At the end of the day, these are the fall guys for this offense.
