1. Dravon Askew-Henry leads in tackles, and intercepts one pass

The West Virginia secondary might be the most underrated aspect of the team. Safety Dravon Askew-Henry leads a very deep and experienced group of defensive backs that also includes players like Kyzir White and Mike Daniels.

This is a group very capable of picking off Shimonek on more than one occasion. They made it tough on TCU quarterback Kenny Hill at times last week. Although, the front seven is not as strong as the secondary for the Mountaineers.

If Texas Tech takes advantage of the West Virginia defense, it will start with beating them on the ground. Kliff Kingsbury is running a very balanced attack this season. However, the Red Raiders are still going to get the ball to leading receiver Keke Coutee whenever they can.

Askew-Henry was second on the team in tackles last week, only behind standout linebacker Al-Rasheed Benton. This week, he has the opportunity to take the next step and take command of the secondary after a devastating injury took his season away last year.
