5. The NC State Wolfpack offense is a well-oiled machine

The NC State Wolfpack offense pulled it out in the end with a 35-17 victory, but things were tied at 14-14 at halftime. A 14-point quarter by the NC State offense popped things open in Week 7. A late 40-yard rush by

A nine-play, 73-yard drive ended with a one-yard run by tight end Jaylen Samuels gave them a 28-14 lead. A late 40-yard rush by Samuels with 2:01 remaining in the game.

The Panthers got the ball back, but defensive end Darian Roseboro would go on to force a strip sack and got the ball to run the rest of the clock out.

Quarterback Ryan Finley finished the game with 198 passing yards and a passing touchdown. Running back Nyhiem Hines finished with 16 carries for 135 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. Samuels finished up with six carries for 62 receiving yards and two rushing touchdowns.

The Wolfpack offense did enough, but they’ll need to get more out of their offense if they hope to beat the Clemson Tigers. That game is on Nov. 4.
