The wide receiver group was called into question after a huge loss to Oklahoma early in the season, but as a unit they have bounced back strong since the loss at home.

K.J. Hill, a sophomore wide receiver from Little Rock, Ark., had a nice game against the Nebraska secondary. He led the team in catches, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns with a stat line of seven receptions for 80 yards and two touchdowns on Saturday night. With his touchdowns coming from 16 and six yards out, he made friends with the endzone Saturday evening.

As of late, this group of receivers has shared the wealth and this week Hill was the one who benefited from the nice offensive game plan. Hill now has 28 catches, 274 yards and three touchdowns on the season. He doubled his touchdown output after Saturday’s performance. Keep making progress Mr. Hill and enjoy your game ball.
