6. As bright as the sun

The Sun Belt gets overshadowed in the spotlight of the SEC down south, but the league that stretches to Idaho and Coastal Carolina has some excellent backs within it.

Senior Aaron Duckworth leads the league at the moment with 552 yards for Idaho. Both Trey Ragas of Louisiana-Lafayette and Troy’s Jordan Chunn are halfway to the 1,000-yard mark, as Ragas has 525 and seven touchdowns and Chunn 518 with six scores.

New Mexico State’s Larry Rose III has been hampered by injuries this year, but has still managed to run for 492 yards. Osharmar Abercrombie of Coastal Carolina has one of the longer names in college football, as the senior has 437 yards on the ground.

Appalachian State’s Jalin Moore is another who has been hit by the injury bug this year, with South Alabama’s Xavier Johnson, Derrick Gore of Louisiana-Monroe and Arkansas State’s Warren Wand providing depth.
