Bold prediction: Saquon Barkley tops 300 all-purpose yards. There isn’t anything that Barkley can’t do. At the midpoint of the season he already has a return touchdown, a passing touchdown, two receiving touchdowns and six rushing touchdowns. Maybe it’s not so bold to call for a massive game from the Penn State stalwart with a few more touchdowns to add to the growing resume.

Bold prediction: Nick Saban gets Butch Jones fired. The writing has been on the wall for a while now, but this is the tipping point. Tennessee doesn’t have a prayer in Tuscaloosa this weekend and there couldn’t be a more poignant way for the Butch Jones era to come to an end than a blowout at the hands of the coach that has already caused the end of so many other coaches in the SEC.

There weren’t any matchups between two Top 25 teams in Week 7, but that was just laid the groundwork for some of the most exciting upsets of the season. No. 19 Michigan visits No. 2 Penn State and No. 11 USC plays at No. 13 Notre Dame. Both of those games should be worth the price of admission, doubly so if a few of these bold predictions come to pass.
