3. Terence Williams is on a mission

It has been a tumultuous season for Terence Williams. He started the season injured when he finally did get on the field he did not get a lot of touches. Some of that was due to offensive line struggles but also the play of John Lovett.

During the bye week, it was rumored that Williams had either left the team or been dismissed. While two players were dismissed, Williams was not among them. Matt Rhule and team leaders decided to give him another chance.

Williams seems to take full advantage of that chance against Oklahoma State. He logged 95 yards on 10 carries and averaged 9.5 yards per carry. Look for Williams to make a lot of noise in the second half of the season.

Baylor’s run game has been a work in progress. Matt Rhule wants to establish the run and be a physical team. Williams is the perfect back for this type of mentality.
