2. Bret Bielema

Another familiar face on the this year’s hot seat piece, Bret Bielema. The good looking record can’t be said the same for Bielema and the Razorbacks. In his five seasons at Arkansas, Bielema has barely scratched the surface of a winning season. With two seven win seasons, and one eight win season, Bielema hasn’t brought the success to Fayetteville fans had hoped for.

After four tremendous season at Wisconsin, Bielema took on the reins at Arkansas. Since beginning his tenure, Bielema has led the Hogs to a 27-30 overall record with a disgusting 10-25 record in the SEC.

Not only are the numbers not in his favor, neither are the fans. The only question left is how long can Arkansas settle for being below average and a non-contender in the SEC. Other than the one other coach that heads our hot seat list for this week, Bielema has the hottest seat in our eyes. Coming off two blow out losses South Carolina and Alabama, the Razorbacks have another tough matchup this week when they will take on Auburn.

I am not saying in anyway that Arkansas needs to win this week, but the possibility shouldn’t be ruled out. The game is in Fayetteville and it will be on national TV, and all eyes will be on Bielema and his squad. Bielema cannot afford another crushing defeat if he wants to remain the coach at Arkansas.
