UCLA Football: 3 takeaways vs. Oregon
By Dana Becker
Key stretch coming up
It’s not going to be easy, but UCLA could still make a run at the Pac-12 South division title and a spot in the conference championship game come December.
The Bruins have games with Washington, Utah, Arizona State, Southern Cal and California remaining. At 2-2 in the league, they are behind USC, Arizona State and Arizona, the latter holding the tiebreaker over them thanks to a 47-30 win last weekend. However, Arizona still has several key games remaining including dates with USC and rival Arizona State.
For the Bruins, they will need to figure out their road woes if they want to be legit contenders. UCLA is a perfect 4-0 at home inside the Rose Bowl, but 0-3 on the road with losses to Memphis, Stanford and the Wildcats. Of those three defeats, only the loss to Memphis was within single digits, as Stanford won by 24 and Arizona by 17.

Josh Rosen continues to light it up through the air, the Bruins have found some semblance of a ground game and the defense held Oregon to just 14 points this week. If they can navigate trips to Washington and Utah over the next two weeks, November games with Arizona State and USC will help determine the fate of the division.
