2. Tar Heels continue to look inept

As good as Virginia Tech was, North Carolina was just as bad. The Tar Heels continue to invent new ways to get blown out. Georgia Tech rolled them up on ground. Virginia Tech mauled them defensively and with turnovers. Close games, blowouts, it hasn’t mattered. Fedora’s team has been atrocious.

North Carolina tried three different quarterbacks to no avail. The Tar Heels moved into Hokies’ territory only three times while turning it over three times as well. The Hokies’ defense feasted on a hapless Carolina offensive unit.

At this points there seems to be little hope of a turnaround. Fedora is clearly on the hot-seat and the fan base is in a state of apathy. Even the Tar Heels’ twitter account could muster only 2 tweets the entire second half. In other words, not good.

Was this a case of the Hokies being head and shoulders better than the Heels? Absolutely. But you can’t help wonder how much of this onslaught was caused by the utter atrociousness of North Carolina.
