Auburn walloped Arkansas on the road in SEC West action for its sixth win of the season. The No. 21 Tigers will likely move up into the high teens of the AP Top 25 this week after the comprehensive 52-20 blowout of the Razorbacks, as they keep pace with rival Alabama in the division race.

It was a committee effort on offense. Kamryn Pettway led the team with 90 yards and three rushing touchdowns, part of a night where Auburn finished with 345 rushing yards and five touchdowns on the ground. Jarrett Stidham didn’t throw a touchdown pass, but he did going 19-of-28 for 218 yards to provide some offensive balance.

The Tigers get a bye week in Week 9 to close out October, then head to College Station for their last road game of the regular season against Texas A&M. Once they return to Auburn, the Tigers don’t have to leave the Plains until either their bowl game or a possible SEC championship appearance. Games against top-five Georgia and Alabama are sandwiched around a non-conference date with Louisiana-Monroe.
