1. The Pac-12 is weird

The new AP Top 25 has been released and no Pac-12 team is in the top 10.

Not a huge shocker, but this is: the Pac-12 has the best record against the other Power Five conferences. This year they are 6-2.

No lossing record against any of the conferences and no is over .500 when they play the Pac-12. Also the Pac-12 only has one team under .500. The Oregon State Beavers are 1-6 on the season and that win was not even against a FBS team. They beat Portland State by three points.

The only issue the Pac-12 has is that none of there great teams are that great.

USC has never played up to preseason hype. Washington State is too unpredictable. Stanford already has two losses. And Washington is only seating at No. 12 in the new AP Ranking looking up a bunch of other more worthy teams. And even if the Huskies win out, they will not be in the College Football Playoff.

On paper, the Pac-12 looks like a strong conference but it you look deeper the conference is paper thin.
