NFL Mock Draft 2018: Complete first round after Week 8
The Cleveland Browns have learned their lesson in terms of picking a starting quarterback early in the NFL Draft. Even DeShone Kizer is not working out for them right now. The former Notre Dame quarterback Kizer was not even a first round pick either.
Instead, the Browns follow the route they chose last year in the NFL Draft and pick the best player available. That pick was former Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett and even though he missed the first few games of the season, it seems to be working out well so far.
No player is more versatile, proven, and talented in this class than Penn State running back Saquon Barkley. He had another huge week in a big win at home over the Michigan Wolverines in Week 8.
Barkley can block, catch passes out of the backfield, and make defenders miss at any level. He also has the breakaway speed needed for home run type plays in the NFL. The Browns would be lucky to land him anywhere in the first round.
