4. USC Trojans

The Arizona State Sun Devils are 4-3 and sitting at 80th in the S&P+. USC, coming off a blowout loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, now have to travel to Tempe, Arizona. The USC Trojans are 6-2 and sitting at 26th in S&P+. This is the biggest upset on my list but the most likely in a way. USC is reeling after that loss and San Darnold looks like he’ll be back in 2018 unless someone in the NFL sees something I don’t.

Darnold has thrown 10 interceptions with 17 touchdowns and 2,200+ passing yards. He’s lost to Wazzu and Notre Dame so far and Arizona State is on the rise. Manny Wilkins has thrown for 1,800+ yards with eight touchdowns and three interceptions. USC will benefit from how poorly the ASU defense has played at times this year, but I can see improving ASU getting a home win against USC coming off that massive beatdown from the Irish.

ASU has put together four straight weeks of great football defeating Oregon, Washington and Utah and losing to Stanford by 10 in between. USC on the other hand only beat Utah by one before dropping the game against Notre Dame.
