1. Crawford and McKoy are more efficient than Justice Hill
In recent weeks, the Pokes have committed to giving sophomore running back Justice Hill a heavy workload. Even when it does not seem to be working, Oklahoma State continues to stick with a heavy dose of Hill on the ground.
Against Texas, Hill only averaged 3.5 yards per carry, but still got 33 carries. Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich did not give Rudolph as much of an opportunity as he should have.
Meanwhile, senior Justin Crawford and sophomore Kennedy McKoy have been solid for the Mountaineers week in and week out. Both Crawford and McKoy average around 6.0 yards per carry and have combined for 10 rushing scores.

The change of pace that McKoy brings when Crawford is getting a break is tough for opposing defenses to handle. Sophomore running back Martell Pettaway has been getting a bigger role as well and could play a role in red zone carries in this matchup.
