2. The game is in Norman

This game was going to be a difficult one for Texas Tech if it was in Lubbock. But the game is not in Lubbock it is in Norman. The fact that the Red Raiders have to travel to Memorial Stadium makes the task of upsetting Oklahoma that much harder.

Not only is it in Norman it’s also at night. The Oklahoma faithful will have a full day to tailgate and gear up for this game and Memorial Stadium will be electric. The Sooners will feed off of the energy in the stadium and it will energize them. I expect Baker Mayfield to be especially pumped up about this game.

This game is like the perfect storm for Texas Tech. They have to play the game in Norman. Not only do they have to play the game in Norman but its at night. To top everything off it’s on national TV on ABC. The Sooners defeated Ohio State and Baker Mayfield planted a flag at the horseshoe on national tv. The Sooners are no stranger to the spotlight.
