1. Jordan Wilkins is off and running

Unlike the passing game, the ground game got off to a slow start this season. Yet, both the running game and passing game have been going in opposite directions since then. Patterson’s injury decimated the air attack.

Meanwhile, senior running back Jordan Wilkins is having a nice end to his career in Oxford. Wilkins missed the entire 2016 campaign because he was rule ineligible before the start of the regular season.

Against Arkansas, Wilkins took 16 carries for 118 yards and one touchdown. Most of those yards came from a 64 yard rushing touchdown that should have helped the Rebels seal the victory. He had a tremendous effort despite the loss.

Wilkins has rushed for a touchdown four games in a row now. Three of his last five games have seen him eclipse the 100-rushing yard mark also. There’s not much for the Rebels to play for right now, but it’s nice to see Wilkins capping it off good.
