1. The combo of Riley Ferguson and Anthony Miller is still elite
I’ve been talking about the combo for Riley Ferguson and Anthony Miller all year. They didn’t disappoint on Friday. Ferguson hit Miller in the first quarter for a 15 yard touchdown to put the Tigers up 14-0. While Miller didn’t have a monster game he had 6 catches for 75 yards and 1 touchdown.
Ferguson spread the ball around and got into the act himself with his feet. Ferguson went 18-for-31 passing for 298 yards (just missing 300 yards by two yards), three touchdowns and one interception. He also had four carries for 18 yards and two rushing touchdowns. That’s a tally of five touchdowns (three passing and two rushing).
While Ferguson and Miller did their part to dismantle Tulane, the running game also chipped in with 259 yards. Memphis scoring 56 points was a total team effort that was spearheaded by their two stars. This offense is explosive and their defense can just keep teams under control with a bend, but don’t break mindset they will have a chance to play in a good bowl this season.

Ferguson and Miller are one of the most dangerous combinations in the ACC this year. While their opponents know it’s coming there isn’t much they can do about it.
