Get ready for a shootout

The amount of points scored by both teams in this game will be staggering. UCLA actually has the slight advantage, scoring over 38.3 points on the season compared to 37.9 points for the Huskies.

Be that as it may, the defensive scoring is “night and day.” The average points given up by the Washington Huskies is 10.6 points a game. In contrast, the UCLA Bruins are allowing 36.7 points a game. Uh-oh! That’s a nearly 26 point spread right there. Even if the Huskies just play blindfolded, they should be able to score 28 points. UCLA is simply not even close to this dangerous Washington Husky team.

Jake Browning hasn’t been on his best game so far this season. In 2016 he had a pair of receivers with 15 or more touchdown receptions. While there are still a few weeks remaining, Dante Pettis leads the team with six touchdown receptions. The Washington offense has too much potency to be kept at bay like that. UCLA is in trouble.

Watch out for this team the next six weeks. The Huskies are not going away. They should win this one easy.
