5. He’s made the biggest difference for UCLA this year

UCLA entered the season with a head coach in Jim Mora that was on one of the hottest seats of anyone in the nation. Yet, Rosen has significantly contributed toward Mora being able to keep his job through eight games.

The Bruins are 4-4 (2-3 PAC-12) with big wins over teams like the Texas A&M Aggies, Oregon Ducks, and Colorado Buffaloes. Without Rosen, UCLA would not have defeated Texas A&M or Colorado. He led a 35-point comeback in the win over the Aggies.

No single player has meant more to this team than Rosen. The commitment he’s showed to keeping this squad in games is truly impressive. That’s something that NFL scouts will take notice of with the “it” factor he possesses.

The UCLA defense has been so bad this season that pressure is constantly on Rosen’s shoulders to keep getting in the end zone. That defense cost the Bruins games against the Memphis Tigers and Arizona Wildcats already.
