2. Final “must-win” game

Arkansas vs Missouri is something many fans and analysts consider a must win for the Razorbacks. The Hogs lost last season 28-24 in an absolutely embarrassing game to the Tigers.

Both teams are sitting at three wins currently but Arkansas is still considered to be the better of these two bad teams. I think that this expectation is probably correct and that Arkansas should be a better team the Tigers this season.

What makes this game hard to predict is the matchup of Arkansas’ defense against Drew Lock‘s offense. The Tiger’s quarterback is incredible and currently has 2,567 yards for the season. Although they only have three wins, this guy is a serious threat.

I think this game will end up being a shootout. Mizzou currently outgains Arkansas 478 yards to 371 per game. The total allowed is pretty close, however, as Missouri gives up 453, while the Hogs give up 430. The numbers show that both team’s defense is terrible and the Tigers offense is better.

This is the only game other than Coastal Carolina, that Arkansas is predicted to win. The FPI gives Arkansas a 55 percent chance, which with it being in Fayetteville, Arkansas, translates to it being a toss-up. At the end of the game, however, there has to be a winner and I am predicting that Arkansas falls to Lock and the Tigers. As the season ends with Arkansas at 4-8, here comes my final prediction.
