Can Ohio State make the Playoff?

The answer to this question is an emphatic yes. If Ohio State wins out and has wins over Penn State, Michigan State, Michigan and an undefeated Wisconsin in the Big Ten championship game, then the only scenario possible where they may not make the final cut is if all the teams above them in the rankings win out. The chances of no upsets happening in November are slim.

Barring something weird happening, Ohio State should not lose another game in the regular season. Losing two to allow Penn State to win the Big Ten East would be shocking. Yes it happened last year in the East when Michigan lost two of their last three games. However this Buckeye team appears to be on a mission and is more talented than Michigan last year.

The Big Ten has yet to miss the playoff in its first three seasons. We should not expect it to happen this season. Ohio State is the big favorite to win it all now and represent the conference again in the playoff.

We will pencil in the Buckeyes chances of making the playoff at 60 percent. All Ohio State should worry about is controlling what they can control on the field and let everything else play itself out. Keep winning and there should be no argument in the end for the committee.
