1. Bret Bielema may as well call the movers

If Bret Bielema is still the coach at the time of my typing of this article, will someone go wake up Jeff Long and make sure he knows that his fifth-year head coach has one SEC win and almost lost to the CCU team I discussed earlier?

Seriously, how do you keep your job if, in year five, you finally break the record of the second half comeback curse? Bielema is 1-18 when down at the half. Speaking of records, I feel it should be a civic duty to share this every day that Bielema is leading Arkansas down the road of “worse than Vanderbilt.”

Bielema’s overall record of 29-31 at Arkansas boils down to the very unfortunate 11-26 that is his SEC record. I said in my November prediction piece that Arkansas was not trending in the right direction and that is more clear now than ever before.

The good news is that Arkansas will finally get a chance to start over. Much like a dog that a family adopts from the pound, the Razorbacks will get a coach that will treat them right, care about wins and take Arkansas to the glory days of old. You know, when the Razorbacks’ conference win percentage was about .531.
