If you haven’t heard about Julian Love, you need to check him out.

The Notre Dame cornerback picked off his third pass of the season vs. Wake Forest and broke up three other passes, setting a new school-record with 14 single-season pass break ups this year.

The old mark was set in 1969 by Charles Ellis.

Love is also closing in on a second Notre Dame record, as he has 153 return yards on his three picks. The school-record is 197 set in 1965 by Nick Rassas.

“Our goal is to create these plays and that’s due to the game planning,” Love said. “We kind of expect it because we work for it. We rep every week creating turnovers.”

A 5-foot-11 sophomore from Illinois, Love also recorded a season-high seven tackles in the win over the Demon Deacons.
