2. Too many last place finishes in the SEC West

It was excusable for Bielema to have a last place finish during his first season with Arkansas which was in 2013. Yet, this could be the third time in five years that the Hogs finish in the basement of the SEC West standings.

Only one time have the Hogs even posted a winning record in SEC play and they will not come close this season, unless wins against Mizzou and Mississippi State are just around the corner. Even Ole Miss could finish ahead of the Hogs.

Just one last place finish is enough for most head coaches to get fired in this conference. Look at former LSU head coach Les Miles getting fired after consistently posting winning records and even bringing a National Championship to Baton Rouge.

Almost any fan of another team could feel the pain of Arkansas fans in terms of dealing with last place finishes. Arkansas has been one of the teams found at or near the bottom of the SEC standings for the better part of the last five years.
