4. Offensive line he’s running behind is top-notch

Notre Dame has one of the best, if not the absolute best, offensive lines in the country. It makes it very easy for Adams to run behind blockers that would be the college equivalent to the Dallas Cowboys offensive line in the NFL.

The Fighting Irish have first round talents like guard Quenton Nelson and tackle Mike McGlinchey lining up in the trenches each and every week. McGlinchey could even end up being a top five pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

However, it guarantees running room for Adams for the next few games. His production should not slow down, especially when facing an option offense like Navy. Notre Dame will be in a battle to control the clock in that game.

This offensive line makes Adams look very good, and that should continue to be true. Yet, the talent that Adams possesses also helps this offensive line look good as well. It’s a symbiotic relationship that will ultimately help Adams in the Heisman running.
