2. Bret Bielema, Arkansas

Bret Bielema was very close to being in the market for a new job Monday morning if it wasn’t for Arkansas’s miracle comeback against FCS foe Coastal Carolina. With the win, the Razorbacks improve to 4-5 on the season, but all four wins have been ugly and unimpressive. A fan base once hoping Bielema would help the program take the next step are now praying he can make a bowl game.

The last three games will not be easy for Arkansas either. The Razorbacks face rivals LSU and Missouri along with welcoming a tough Mississippi State team to Little Rock. It’s looking more and more likely that Arkansas will once again miss a bowl.

As for Bielema, these next three weeks will determine if he can keep his job. It isn’t too far-fetched to think that Arkansas will fire him, regardless of how the rest of the season comes. But Arkansas boosters will have to pony up to pay Bielema’s large $15.4 million buyout.
