Case for Oklahoma

Right now Oklahoma has just one loss, and even though they are on the outside looking in they may have to two best road wins in the nation. They beat Ohio State who was No. 2 at the time on the road and a Top 10 Oklahoma State last week on the road. Not many teams come to Columbus and knock off Ohio State and everybody knows how crazy the Bedlam rivalry is.

Oklahoma might also have the most exciting quarterback in college not named Lamar Jackson in Baker Mayfield. Mayfield has been putting up video game numbers this season even with all the talent the offense lost either graduation or the NFL. He is 195-for-272 passing for 3,226 yards, 28 touchdowns (33 total) and five interceptions. He is tossing the ball all around the yard and completing passes at a 71.7 percent clip, slightly higher than his 71 percent mark from last season.

They did lose to Iowa State, but it isn’t looking as bad because Iowa State is now a Top 25 team and has given No. 6 TCU their only loss of the season. Oklahoma needs to beats West Virginia at home and take care of business in the Big 12 Title game. Win out and everything else will take care of itself.
