4. Hand things over to a local legend: Tee Martin

At just 39 years of age, Tee Martin is one of the top young assistant coaching talents in college football. Currently, Martin is the offensive coordinator for the University of Southern Cal, which gives him plenty of access to NFL-caliber stars.

Martin is also a former Tennessee Volunteer quarterback who directed the school to the 1998 national championship after sitting behind Peyton Manning. A two-year starter, Martin broke the NCAA record for consecutive completions and went 2-0 vs. Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Vanderbilt and Kentucky.

While he might be short on coaching experience, hiring someone who went 6-0 vs. Alabama, Auburn and Georgia during his playing career makes for some easy headlines.

Following a short career in the NFL and CFL, Martin began working his way through the ranks. He has made stops at high schools along with Morehouse, New Mexico and Kentucky to go along with roles as wide receiver coach, passing game coordinator and offensive coordinator with the Trojans.
