ACC Football Power Rankings: No change at the top in Week 12
By Dana Becker
Once again, Clemson will compete for the ACC title in hopes of returning to the College Football Playoff for a third time.
While the final score indicated a convincing win, this past Saturday’s 31-14 triumph over rival Florida State was anything but a cakewalk.
The Seminoles put together a threat in the second half, climbing within three with just under nine to play. Clemson (9-1, 7-1) responded, as Travis Etinne capped a drive with a touchdown and Adam Choice did the same in the final 35 seconds.
Etienne rushed for 97 yards and had two scores, with Kelly Bryant throwing for 151 yards on 20 completions.
The Tigers close with nonconference foes The Citadel and rival South Carolina before a date with Miami in December for the championship.
