1. Oklahoma Sooners

Oklahoma has been taken the bull by its horns, they already knocked off Ohio State when they were No. 2 in the nation, won Bedlam against Oklahoma State who was No. 11 at the time and then in Week 11, they beat down No. 6 TCU who came into the game with one of the best defenses in nation.

The Sooners beat TCU 38-20 and it wasn’t as close as the final score would suggest as TCU scored a late touchdown to make it look better.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield shredded the TCU defense to the tune of 383 total yards (333 passing and 50 rushing). He threw for three touchdowns and made big play after big play to put himself in the lead of the Heisman race. Running back Rodney Anderson had a monster game rushing for 151 yards on 23 carries and two touchdowns. He also had five receptions for 139 yards and two scores. Along with Mayfield, Anderson torched TCU.

Oklahoma’s maligned defense showed up Week 11, holding TCU under 400 total yards making it hard for them to get on track all night. Allowing 20 points a week after giving up 52 is a heck of an improvement.
