College Football Playoff 2017: Which 2-loss teams can still make it?
1. Auburn Tigers (8-2, 6-1 in SEC)
The Auburn Tigers will have the most to say regarding how the CFP shakes up in the next couple weeks.
Fresh off a statement win over No. 1 Georgia, the Tigers have now solidified themselves as not only a Playoff spoiler, but a serious shot to making it in the top four.
One of the things most two-loss teams need in order to advance in the rankings is that they need teams in front of them to lose. Luckily for Auburn, not only could that happen, but they could be the one that hands multiple teams that loss.
The Tigers have already given Georgia their first loss and in two Saturdays from now they will have a shot to take down undefeated and new No. 1 team Alabama as they host the Crimson Tide in this year’s Iron Bowl. Surely, two wins in three weeks could be enough to get them in the discussion, right?
Well, should the Tigers defeat Alabama — both them and the Crimson Tide will be sitting in the SEC West with one loss and due to the tiebreaker, Auburn would head to Atlanta for the SEC Championship to take on none other than the Georgia Bulldogs.

It is going to be a tall task to take on, but wins over Georgia, Alabama, and Georgia is enough to put the first ever two-loss team in, right?
